I'm not surprised that many people will still fall for such scam... With how the country is, everyone is looking for any means to put food on their table and most of them want it quick.. these scammers as well want to put something on their table so they purge their ill activities onto innocent but greedy fellows..

They can't totally be stopped, so it's good to inform people of such things so they become aware and stay off anything that requires you send money to get money in return.. that the true definition of Ponzi...

You are right, with the way the country is going even people that think they are smart are still falling for scams like this and it would always continue to be this way. People are desperate to make quick money in Nigeria that's why people who are not Nigerians can put a Ponzi scheme together to defraud them. Bitcoin scam has being going on for a long time, fraudsters call it their ultimate scamming scheme. The problem with a lot of Nigerians is that they lack knowledge, if they are well enlightened they would know that there's no such thing as Bitcoin doubling. You can either hodl and be patient or just forget about getting involved in it, people who are desperate can't benefit from crypto
