It doesn't really matter how close they got since they still lost thanks to which the series comfortably went to the hosts and that is what everyone will remember at the end of the day. Pakistan messed up big time.

The division between top teams and mediocre ones keeps widening as time passes in literally every format of cricket.

Well.. that's actually surprising, because I consider Pakistan as one of the teams in the top-tier, and there is no doubt that Bangladesh doesn't belong there. And then we have two consecutive wins from Bangladesh over Pakistan. The issue here is inconsistency from Pakistan. Also, as I mentioned previously the selectors sent a second string squad, which didn't fared well. Bangladesh also had the home advantage, as the matches were played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Another time Bangladesh is winning the game against Pakistan and they also won the series too. They deserve it. Pakistan team is so poor team and there is no strategy, no plans. Every player is coming and just hitting without any focus on the required run rate. Such an unbalanced team with no discipline, no fate, no unity in the entire team.

When Bangladesh were batting, it seemed that they were executing's thier plans but on the other hand, Pakistani bowlers are still good, they tried their best but if there were a big team against Pakistan such as Australia or England, it would be even more harder for them to do anything better.

I certainly agree that Bangladesh has performed very well, but it is not right to call Pakistan them a completely weak team, look, unexpected performances are very normal in sports, their performance may not be good now, but are they really a weak team? Pakistan is a team that also has very great legendary players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Abrar Ahmed. They may have lost some balance in their performance at the moment, but I never agree with the idea that the team has absolutely no strategy or desire to win. They may be in very bad form now, but they can also turn around very strongly.
