Rich people gamble with a different mentality, it's normal to think that gambling would be less entertaining to them or not much of challenge... Unlike someone that's not rich or average gambles to make profit, most rich people just gamble for the thrill and they still find satisfying when they win... Most of them probably just see gambling as entertainment, while for average people like us, we gamble like we’re trying to make a living out of it, or at least we make it our goal. Sometimes we even end up having unrealistic expectations.

That’s the big difference. And that’s also why most gambling addicts are poor, because the mindset is wrong from the start. Instead of treating it as just a game, they treat it like a way out, and that’s where the problem starts.
