Reports on X today are claiming that the US government’s Bitcoin addresses have been unmasked and that they are only holding 29,000 BTC. A far cry from the 200,000 BTC claimed. This could also be why we never heard anything after President Trump issued an audit. If they don’t have the Bitcoin, does that mean a 170,000 BTC buy from the government is imminent?

200,000 BTC owned by the US government might actually be true because initially that was what was estimated but further investigation made them came up with a figure valued at 29,000BTC .
After thorough investigation and findings it was discovered that some BTC within the reach of the US Treasury is still under seizure is not yet forfeited owing properly to the fact that it has gotten a court ruling yet to acertain that it's now rightly belongs to the US government
How ever it was estimated that the US government proposed 200,000BTC to be recovered for a period of five years
