We forget that the EPL is a different league altogether and majorly above the competition Gyokeres was playing in sporting. Well, it will be record breaking if Gyokeres can help the team win the EPL next season by delivering on goals in every games as Erling Haaland has done for Manchester city.

He has a lot to do as the new striker of Arsenal because we will be expecting much from him after doing a very great job at his former club, Sporting. It is good if expectations on him are lowered because he may not turn out to be a prolific striker here as he was during his stay at Sporting Lisbon. As you’ve said, the premier league is a tough competition and he may not find it easy as it was for him in the Portuguese league. We just have to cross our hands and watch how the game will be for him in his new club.

Arsenal won today 1–0 against Milan. They had 23 shots on goal, with 9 of them on target. They dominated Milan, allowing only 1 shot on target. I watched the second half of the game but I must say that Arsenal really dominated the game and outplayed them in all positions. It was like a big team playing against a very mediocre team. If Arsenal can continue like this in the next season, they’ll definitely be there for the premier league title and go far in the champions league also or could even win it. Gyokeres made a statement that all he wants to win is the champions league trophy and that was why he joined Arsenal.
