Trust me, just quit it. You've learnt all you can and had all the experience you will ever need. The only feeling left for you right now, if you're honest, is you want to do better. But you won't. I still keep in touch with trading after quitting, still like reading the news but without depositing any more to trade other than here and there doing some rando shitcoin for a few dollars.

I think once you start doing a few years of quitting, and instead using the time spent on improving yourself in other aspects (plus go do DCA) you'll realize as I did, you gain SO much more as a person.
Maybe you didn't have to pour out those words just to discourage him even though you appears like you're trying to help him not lose more than he already had because you think there's nothing more for him to learn or know than he will do afterwards. Trading requires a long time of effective learning and dedication to it to be able to do better, and every loss ought to be an experience gained. Because a good trader should have to get back on knowing why a specific trade went wrong and where he missed it in order to learn for next time. DCAing isn't bad anyway but not everyone will want to DCA as much as they want to be trading.
