Real Madrid is still strong to challenge many teams next season, to have a good performance through out like the way they displayed last season to reach semi final. I know there is a little challenge which Real Madrid coach must correct in this pre-season to get it right next season, he need to work on his defenders because they contributed some of the things that made Real Madrid to missed UEFA champion league and FIFA club world cup title, I don't think Real Madrid strikers are weak if you check their performance last season, I have that faith that Real Madrid strikers will improve more than what people saw in them last season.

Yes, I agree with you that the Real Madrid team is still strong enough to challenge many teams next season, but I believe if Real Madrid plays against strong opponents, they will find it difficult to win against them because there are still lapses in the Real Madrid team. Real Madrid strikers are in good shape, and I believe they aren't the problem why Real Madrid is struggling. The main problem why Real Madrid is struggling currently is coming from the midfield and defense areas, so the Real Madrid board needs to back Xabi Alonso to sign quality players in those areas so that he can strengthen the Real Madrid team and block all the lapses in the Real Madrid team so that Real Madrid will be back to winning trophies next season.
