Honestly the best thing we can do is to teach our kids and hope that all the things we got to accomplish for them won't be put into waste. Build your portfolio now. Invest in assets that will be profitable in the long term so you can leave this to your kids.
The highest gift you can give your kid while you're still alive is to train him to become self dependent and then they can afterwards take care of whatever extra privileges that comes to them either in the form of responsibility of talking care of the asset you're leaving for them or even a system you're leaving for them.
A child that don't know what it takes to hustle and build system won't know the value of one that's freely handed over to him. He will easily abuse such opportunity because he doesn't know the deficulty involved in building such a system.
I am more on that as well because if the kid grows having the resources given to him, he won't know the real worth of the things around him. Better work him all the way up, know the ground work and how to value the money by earning his own money as well.
You can't guarantee that the wealth you will leave will be used accordingly and and so it is better to leave them with long lasting skills or values so whenever or whatever they become, they can survive the challenges of life.
