Everyone saw that Victor Osimhen played well at Galatasaray and fully adapted to the team.
If we had signed a different striker instead, we wouldn’t have known whether that player would fit into the team or not, meaning we couldn’t be sure about the impact he’d have.
And if it turned out to be a bad transfer and we repeated the same mistake a few times, we would have ended up spending the same amount of money we spent on Osimhen anyway.
But now, at least we know what Osimhen brings to the team and we saw his contribution last season.
