From the first round Usyk seemed to be focused on trying to push Dubois back when tried to control the centre of the ring. It was a professional performance by Usyk and he deserved the win but Dubois did not really get started at all. We did not have an opportunity to see how Usyk would have reacted if he received the same heavy shots from Dubois (that destroyed Joshua).
I suppose that is part of the being a great champion, you stop your opponent from executing their plan while you implement your own to control the fight.
The accuracy of Usyk's punches really got Dubois throughout the 1st until the 4th round, and finally knocking him down in the 5th round.
That shot to the temple really changed everything, and he even had a hard time to recover after that and Usyk threw that final solid left hook to end the fight, and become the king of the heavyweight. As for Fury-Usyk 3, I hope that Usyk will not accept this fight because for me, there's no reason for Usyk to fight him especially if he already won twice against him. Now I wonder what's next for Usyk now that he already unified the Heavyweight. Will he wait for a perfect opponent for him on that division, or he will try to go to a lower division which for me is highly unlikely, or maybe he will just retire since he's already 38 years old.
Congratulations to Usyk as well.
