I think our local community members are hesitating to apply for a local board, seeing that Pakistan hasn't gotten its own yet. I would expect Pakistan to get its own local board in the near future, and I hope we will apply for our own local board one day.
I am surprised to hear to no members from Bengali community created a local board request thread as I thoyght that you already done that years ago. Imho its wrong to wait because if you only do it if/when Pakistan gets it, you may have to wait for a long time.
The stats really speak for themselves. Some local boards are inactive or have lower activity than the Pakistan local thread. But these people have their local board. I also want to request the admins to consider the application as soon as they can.
Thats probably the reason why forum staff is hesitant to create new local boards, fearing that it might get inactive, like some of the already existing ones.
