I am certain I never said I am against negotiations. There is no way to end a war without negotiations of some other that the killing of absolutely every single oponent and I do not recall anything like in recent history (it did happen in ancient times though).... may be frozen conflicts and eternal wars are possible. That could potentially be an outcome.

The negotiations are a big NOTHING. Russia won't deal with Ukraine for 3 major reasons, and everybody knows it:
1. Zelensky is a terrorist... anybody can see his lies... and nobody deals with terrorists;
2. Z is not the authority for Ukraine since he won't-allow/hasn't-allowed elections, and isn't the rightful Ukrainian leader because of this;
3. The negotiation delegates from Ukraine have no authority, because Z is dictator of his own country. This means that there isn't really any Ukraine. It's just a bunch of media words from the West that Ukraine even exists any longer.

Russia is simply trying to restore Ukraine.

Cool

EDIT: Note that as of today the Ukrainian people are organizing and protesting against Zelensky. There are only a few hundred thousand people doing this all around Ukraine, now. Most Ukrainians are afraid of Z backlash. It will be interesting to see how much success freedom they really have, or if Z will start turning into another Stalin.

Seems that, Zelensky, not having been able to receive fast enough help from the West, has turned on his Western puppet-masters. In order to save his own corrupt practices, he has forcefully shut down the US ant-corruption organization in Ukraine, that was getting too close to finding out the truth.

Now Z is making strange overtures to Russia... his position as Ukraine president to be maintained by Russia, in return for letting Russia have the half of Ukraine that they have been looking for.

The whole thing is rather difficult to understand. If you are truly interested watch the first half of "Military Summary"'s Youtube Channel at...

1 - Zelensky is not a terrorist. You whitewash real terrorists using the term so randomly.
2 - Zenlensky is the legitimate president of Ukraine. He was elected democratically and, as the constitution of Ukraine is written, he is the current legal president.
3 - The delegates sent by Ukraine are legitmate and legal as per Ukraine's law.

The negotiations cannot yield any great result because Putin is sending an aidee who has no power to decide or negotiate.

Ruzzia has made an incursion in Pokrosk and it could eventually be taken, which would take Ruzzia to the next kilometer of Ukranian fortifications that may or may not take along months of time.

For #2, we've been through this before, according to the Ukrainian constitution his presidency ended in March 2024

Article 103
The President of Ukraine is elected by the citizens of Ukraine, on the basis of universal, equal and direct suffrage, by secret ballot for a five-year term.
...
Regular elections of the President of Ukraine are held on the last Sunday of March of the fifth year of the term of authority of the President of Ukraine. In the event of pre-term termination of authority of the President of Ukraine, elections of the President of Ukraine are held within ninety days from the day of termination of the authority. The procedure for conducting elections of the President of Ukraine is established by law.

Article 8. In Ukraine is acknowledged and is operated principle of supremacy of right. Constitution of Ukraine has the most greatest legal force. Acts and other legal normatively acts are passed on the basis of Constitution of Ukraine and must answer her. Norms of Constitution of Ukraine are the norms of direct action. The address to the court for defence of constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen directly on the basis of Constitution of Ukraine is guaranteed.

Article 103 says that UA president is elected for 5 years and it clearly specifies the exact date the elections should've happened in march of the fifth year, article 8 says that constitution is the supreme law, so no other law can overrule this article or change elections to any other date.

Yes we have and you seem to have a very selective memory. The constitution does clearly not allow elections when there is a high chance of foreing interference. Do I need to quote the same thing over and over?

Zelensky is the elected president, if you want new elections, you need to de-Putinify the situation - stop the war, return the kiddnapped children and let people vote freely. And BTW stop making Ruzzian passports mandatory for absolutely anything in the Ukranian occupied territory and let Ukranians speak Ukranian in the schools.

What you call "Russification" is actually a war crime - depriving people from their culture.

But anyway, that is largely irrelevant to the case. Zelensky at this point has more than enough popular support, so another free election would be likely to increase his margin.

You're well aware that we're talking about presidential elections (not parliament [Verkhovna Rada]). So yes please quote where UA constitution clearly does not allow PRESIDENTIAL elections when there is a high chance of foreing interference. Or have the decency to admit theythat you lied or were simply wrong. Ukraine could've held presidential elections according to their constitution, the fact that UA government chose not to follow constitution because it was not beneficial for Zelenskyy is a different topic.

Kids are not allowed to vote in Ukraine so that's irrelevant to the topic of Zelenskyy term being over according to the constitution.
