Considering how outstanding Alexander Isak has been, I will really would love to see him play in a top-notch club, the youngster has the ability to improve over time and it will be a delight to watch him play among top players that will contribute to his improvement. As Newcastle united stands now, he is there talisman, letting him go is what I cannot envisage at that moment but Liverpool will seriously be breaking the Bank to buy him considering how much they've just spent in buying Ekitike.
Liverpool can still break the balcony for him, realised they haven't been spending for some recent seasons in comparison with other top teams their recent transfer records are nothing and not that they were being held by any restrictions.
Now they can strengthen their squad way more for a long term but the fee requested by Newcastle is really huge and I think this is because of the amount they spent on Florian Wirtz and Ekitike.
Alexander Isak is a fast-developing striker and Liverpool started eyeing him after they had an encounter with him in the EFL final between Newcastle and Liverpool where Newcastle emerged the winner. Isak have been very productive to Newcastle so if they demand a high price for his signing, it's not to be argued because he is a classic player now. But i don't think that Liverpool will be willing to break the bank for him because the club has signed quite some good players already and they were basically doing fine with the current squad they have but due to the death of Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold that left the team for Real Madrid made them to enter the market and look for quality players that can cover up those positions so even without them signing Alexander Isak they are still good to start the season in a good way. Liverpool have already spent a lot in the signings they made which means spending huge just to sign Alexander Isak might turn out to be a financial burden to them.
