Manchester United needs a striker that's consistent in scoring goals, and Nicolas Jackson isn't that type of a striker, so I won't encourage Ruben Amorim and Manchester United to go for Nicolas Jackson, who failed to perform well at Chelsea. In my opinion, instead of Manchester United signing Nicholas Jackson, they should sign Watkins from Aston Villa because Watkins is better than Nicholas Jackson.
Manchester tried with old strikers who actually helped them resolving goal scoring issues in one or two seasons but not longer than that. They have failed to find a young and talented striker who can be their long term solution on this important position and if they sign with Jackson, it seems they will make another mistake in transfer market for this position.
They actually have big problems in their club at many positions, not only the striker position, but it's realistic that they can not fix all weak positions within only one summer transfer season. However, if they continue to fail with the striker position, it's hard to believe they can succeed at other positions in their squad and their performances in coming seaon will likely be bad.
For last three consecutive season (2023/24, 2024/25, 2022/23) Arsenal is finishing second in EPL and it's a patience test for their fans that when Arsenal will win the season. Arsenal is know as a team that do well in initial stages of the tournament and gets eliminated at final stages. In UEFA Champions league, Arsenal did the hard work of beating Real Madrid in quarter finals but got eliminated after losing to PSG in the semi final. Arsenal will perform well in upcoming EPL season but the management must see how to overcome the problem of getting eliminated at crucial stage of the tournament.
They are similar to Manchester City in some early seasons after ownership changed hands and had massive money for transfers. Arsenal will need to continue their performances, at least maintain it and if possible improve it more, soon they will have a season to become a champion in Premier League. The last season shows something positive in Arsenal with an amazing journey in UEFA Champions League while in Premier League, they truly performed worse than two previous seasons even they finished all three latest seasons as a runner-up.
