For privacy, no Bitcoin investors would tell you that how many bitcoin they have so if you do any survey, you will likely receive fake answers with no accurate and honest figures.
Even someone answers your question honestly, your question is not too relevant so it won't be helpful for your data collection and data analysis later. A person possibly has different bitcoin number in the past, the present and the future.
Hopefully until now, you see that how bad your question is and how you need to change your current question to a better one.
You are very correct, no one will want to risk their asset by telling you how many Bitcoin they've got.
Whether they know you or not, we are in a world where no one trust each other, everyone got a secret and are super cautious of their privacy too, which they don't want anyone to know about their financial information or Bitcoin holdings except maybe their next of kin or highly trusted person that will likely know their confidential information or have a bit of an access to their privacy, for the sake of their assets which they want to secure by all possible means.
