this is an easy guess in 10 years we should be past 1 million.

unless some one invents a new math that could magically solve sha 256 crypto.

Last time some one invent new math was sir Issac Newton

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton

he figured it out in 1667 or so.

so this is the one way btc could be fucked for sure.

but the truth is no one knows if a 3 dimensional person such as a human being can invent this so called sha-256 busting math

That guy are asking the million-dollar or billion-dollar question, lol. Grin

World’s best crypto analysts like Michael Saylor expected that Bitcoin would eventually hit $1 million by 2035 to 2040, seeing the scarcity and demand for Bitcoin in institutions and even governments. ARK Invest has offered three scenarios about the price of BTC by 2030, they are- $300k (conservative), base $710k, and $1.5M if bull in favour.

Do you know Ric Edelman? Very cool bitcoin guy, he advise it is more riskier to hold little to no BTC than include a minimum of 10-40% of allocation in your portfolio.

So you are worried about quantum computers that they could break the algorithms used by BTC, huh?  Undecided such as SHA-256 and ECDSA, but to break these algorithms using Grover's or Shor's algorithm would require millions of qubits and kinda impossible. Till the time this risk becomes severe, the network would get post-quantum upgrades on which the developer community is actively working.
