The real problem facing Manchester United lies in the difficulty of releasing players they plan to sell in the transfer market. As we know, most of the players at Manchester United have high salaries, so very few teams are interested in signing them. Furthermore, with their lack of success in recent seasons, the players' reputations have also been tarnished. So, the team isn't struggling to acquire new players; the problem is that they must first release some of their existing players.

We can see how many players have been successfully sold to other teams in the current transfer window. I think there haven't been any official sales, except for a few loan players and players released due to retirement or contract expiration. So, I think Amorim's situation is more difficult than anyone imagines.
You're right that Manchester United's problem lies in their difficulty in releasing players they intend to sell in the transfer market. Some offers have come in at prices that are actually below Manchester United's asking price.

I initially thought Manchester United had successfully sold one of their players, Rashford, to Barcelona. However, it turns out Rashford was only loaned there. So far, three Manchester United players have been loaned or officially loaned to other clubs:

1. Marcus Rashford (Loaned to Barcelona)
2. Daniel Gore (Loaned to Rotherham)
3. Enzo Kana Biyik (Loaned to Lausanne Sport)

And there are also three players leaving due to contract expiration or retirement:
1. Victor Lindelof
2. Christian Eriksen
3. Jonny Evans

Currently, Manchester United intends to release three players in the transfer market. They are:
1. Jadon Sancho (Negotiations with Juventus were postponed)
2. Antony (Reports suggest Real Betis is still interested)
3. Alejandro Garnacho (I haven't heard any news about this player in the transfer market)

So, I agree that what Amorim is facing there is quite difficult. Manchester United won't be able to bring in more new players if they're still struggling to offload the ones they intend to let go. Unless Manchester United wants to follow Chelsea's example, continuing to add new players despite already having a surplus of players in the same position. Grin
