Well, within this variety of posts on the same topic, which is a bit dizzying tbh, I wanted to respond to LoyceV in the locked thread, so I'll do it here.
I couldn't care less about what anonymous people on the internet think about me, let alone what a chatbot "thinks" about me. Why do you care so much about the "opinion" of a language model? You call it "combating misinformation", I call it training their language model (so they can make more profit).
I partly agree, but more with the first point than the second. I couldn't care less either about what might be on external websites about a forum account with the nickname FMC aka PP, but nowadays chatbots are better than the most powerful search engine, and they are increasingly being used to search for information, so in part I do understand Vod. On the other hand, I don't think he is totally anonymous, is he? Both Vod and OG do know a few other's personal details, no? Apart from the fact that if you go to bpip.org you can see the creator's name, things like that.
Edit: Lol, I've just seen that LoyceV replied on the other thread a bit before than my reply here. Suggestion for Vod: lock one of them.
