Volatility is an advantage, an opportunity when bitcoin acts as an investment and the reason we choose bitcoin is also because of its high volatility. Because we can make big profits from that volatility.

But on the contrary, volatility is considered a disadvantage and limitation when using bitcoin as a currency. That is why not many people want to use bitcoin as a currency, and not many companies and stores accept it as a payment method. As long as bitcoin remains volatile, the expectation that bitcoin will become and be used as a global currency or payment method will never come true.

Whether volatility is an advantage or a disadvantage will depend on what we use bitcoin for.
