Yes, marketing is very important. Also, I cannot argue with anything you stated but I think we agree as far as active users and downloads are concerned, Ginger Wallet is way behind Wasabi Wallet.

Even with any positive marketing, I think Ginger Wallet would struggle against Wasabi Wallet because of the mandatory 0.3% fee over their 0.03 BTC threshold.

Ginger Wallet cannot compete with Wasabi Wallet because the Open Coordinator and Kruw coordinator are free regardless of the size of the Bitcoin deposit and/or coinjoin. Why would users choose Ginger Wallet and pay a fee when they can use Wasabi Wallet with either Open Coordinator or Kruw coordinator and pay zero fees?

There are many legacy users of Wasabi Wallet, whereas Ginger wallet is a quite new software which does not have so much popularity in the community. Not because it is bad or anything but simply because they do not market it enough.

Marketing is important for any software.
