The only team that came for Mbuemo that are playing in the champions league that showed serious commitment in signing him was Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham thought they could use the influence of their new manager who was the former manager of Brian Mbuemo at Brentford to get him to Tottenham, but that didn't work because Manchester United offered Mbuemo higher salary structure. Manchester United pays their players very well. This was the reason Mbuemo rejected Tottenham. As for Cunha it was just Manchester United that was the big team that showed interest in him. Besides Cunha is not a world class player, neither is Mbuemo. Judging from the club's they were playing for recently. Manchester United is a big elevation for them with or without European football.
Many people including athletes have a dream to play in Manchester United, you know how many people are inspired with Ronaldo. But now, the young generation no longer see Manchester United as their favorite team, most of them favor on Manchester City or Liverpool.
Even Tottenham can give more than Manchester United, we all know Tottenham is a curse team who will never get any prestigious trophy (although they prove it wrong by winning Europa League, only one from many decades).
Well I don't believe that Tottenham are cursed. It's just unambiguous management that's killing Tottenham. If a new ownership that's ambiguous and willing to take the club to another level. Tottenham will naturally flourish, so I don't see anything that's proving that they are cursed. Who cursed them? What was the reason for the alledged curse? As things stands now between Manchester United and Tottenham, I don't believe Tottenham can give anything more than Manchester United. Ten Hagg gave them two trophies. And Tottenham just won one in 17 years. Manchester United pays well more than them. So in what aspect do you think Tottenham is giving more than them currently?
