We mustn`t think about teenagers. If they have the same rights with adults, they must have the same responsibility as the adults. If they are too young to understand it - it means that the government ought to increase the age of becoming adult.
I don`t sure that attraction of the gambling increases, but i say it without any statistics - just watching around. I don`t have any mate, who become a gambler or at least interesting in gambling. Of course there are new gamblers, but i don`t see changes around me.
Each country has their own age restriction when it comes to gambling. There's even a thread which has discussions on varying ages per country about the legal age of the person that is permitted to gamble.
Like this one -
Minimum Age to gamble You will have idea what are the min age per state in the US, that are allowed to gamble.
Or this thread -
Age restriction in gambling . You can see that some countries will accept gamblers as young as 5 years old, which for me is quite disturbing.
Thx. But i tried to tell about another thing. If gambling is allowed for teenager - he becomes a common gambler with the same rights and duties as adult has. And we can`t stop them - it would be breaking the law, as i understand.
If government doesn`t cares about it - it means that they don`t see any problem with it.
PS. 5 years old is really strange, but in such age children lives with the parents, who have to tell them about gambling i think.
