Some of these newbies join the forum and claim that they don't know their way around and need help navigating the forum. How were they able to locate the beginners and help section to even create their first post? These are just acts by newbies to get noticed.
Well it is not wrong for them to announce their presence here, but there should be other ways to do so. Threads like "I'm new here, hope I'm welcomed", "I'm new here, I can't find my way around", "I'm new here, teach me about Bitcoin"... are literally flooded everywhere. A simple search would solve all these.
They could just be naive and not know how to better put it. If you’re new in a place, there is no better way to announce it than doing it like this. Maybe if they’ve came to the board to see other newbies introduction, they’re also compelled to do the same thing to just be a way of making themselves know as you said. It’s better to just take it easy on them. Asking for genuine guidance as a newbie is okay and almost everyone here will be willing to help.
Do well to support my journey in this forum with any positive feedback, support or advice.
What kind of positive feedback do you mean please?
That part also seems confusing to me. A positive feedback on what actually? Maybe he means feedback on the nature of his engagement on the forum, if he’s doing it right as he should as a newbie or needs some corrections.
