Firstly, massive respect to the Super Falcons for clinching the WAFCON title. The girls played with heart and showed true class. A proud moment for Nigeria, no doubt. But something keeps bothering me... During that final, lasers were visibly pointed at our players, you could see it clearly in several photos and videos that's been circulating the media space. That kind of distraction is dangerous and completely against fair play.
What’s more worrying is that despite all the noise from fans, coaches, and even media, CAF hasn’t said a single thing about it yet(at least the last time I checked). No official statement, no disciplinary move have been made, just complete silence. This is the African football governing body we’re talking about, and the whole thing happened right in a continental final.
So now I’m wondering, are they planning to just sweep it under the carpet?

Investigation will not start except there is a complaint. CAF will look into the matter if the NFF make a formal complaint. As it stands now, CAF is not aware of this shameful incident. Morocco needs to be sanctioned for this disgraceful act. A fine or playing without fans for some matches might be a worthy punishment. For now, the Nigerian is in the mood of celebration, maybe they would have hastily sought justice if we had lost the trophy.
