OP, I don't think business and gambling goes hand in hand. Gambling doesn't give one the business spirit but the truth is that if as a gambler  you don't output your gambling urge under control, your business could be heading for a doom because it is believed that gamblers who are addicted could wreck their business as a result of their addiction. There have been lots of cases of businesses shoting down as a result of the owners addiction and carelessness. It is not possible to be an addicted gambler and also run a successful business at the same time.
