I wonder how those people feel who win large amounts in lottery, which has even slighter chances of winning than gambling games, and then they spend it all on either lottery tickets trying to get a bigger win, or gamble it all away with the intent to become richer with the money because they became overconfident after the win. In a moment, you could change your life with an amount you had in your hands, and in the second moment, you have nothing left of it.

Gambling can be brutal, and only those who can act the right way at the right time can actually enjoy it.
Have you ever seen people buying a huge number of lottery tickets? I have seen this. There is a local post office where these very tickets are sold. Elderly people come and start buying a considerable amount of money. For what? They think that the quantity increases the chances of winning. But I have not seen any winners among them. All this resembles a fraud at the state level. It is so disgusting when elderly people are tricked out of their last money that they could spend on their own needs. After all, pensions in my country are very modest.
