Oh yes I took time to watch the highlights and it was really fascinating and thrilling with all that comeback which all started with Esther Okoronkwo goal that ignited the momentum that followed with the rest of the two goals after. What happened in the second half was that the Moroccan women felt victorious before the end of the goal and fell back since they were leading 2 goals already. A mistake the Super Falcons capitalized on.
I was curious and immediately watched the replay, I have to admit, the 12 minutes I spent were well worth it, the women fought like the men; this was a worthy final. Even crazier Nigeria is the country with the most WAFCON titles, I actually just learned this. By the way congratulations to the women who have made Nigeria proud again this year.
The match is really worth watching the replay. However, I think the women did played more than what the men has ever played for the green and white jersey in the past decade. The women team in Nigeria football has made greater accomplishments than the men's team and I do hold them high above the men, to be honest. Winning a the WAFCON for 10 times now isn't an easy feat, thereby giving Nigerians a bragging right in African football.
