Bayern Munich will sign Luis Diaz, strengthening their club.
Meanwhile, their rivals, both Leverkusen and Leipzig, have lost their main players in very strategic positions. And now, Benjamin Sesko is close to leaving the club, currently a target for Manchester United and Newcastle. Newcastle has even agreed to the requested fee, but Manchester United has also submitted a bid. So, Sesko is deciding where his future lies.
If Bayern Munich sign with Luis Diaz, they will not likely have a good transfer while Liverpool are smart to sell Diaz for money and they already prepared for it with some attacking players joining this summer. Diaz played well in a last season while in previous seasons, he did not play too well. This is not too consistent quality performance from Diaz and it is an alarm that Liverpool can not rely on him.
In Bundesliga, Bayern Munich dominate this league from transfer market to league performances. Even with those star players, Leverkusen and Leipzig did not able to beat Bayern Munich last season and this summer can weaken their teams more. It will only make Bayern Munich more easily to win Bundesliga title againa and dominate the league again.
Hopefully, United will acquire a few players they are targeting. Although I am not quite sure about the improvements United will make for the next season, with their transfer market activities not being like Amorim wants to build a new team. I think he will only bring in a few players to refresh his squad. Moreover, it will take a significant effort to transform United's performance.
Manchester United used to target many players and at the end they overspent money for players who are not too good and actually failed at their clubs in some seasons later. This summer so far does not show any signal that they already change their strategy on the market and it will possibly affect their preparation for a coming season. Overspending money is bad as it can affect the club finance balance, but it become worse if they won't get good contributions from expensive players they bought.
