On the time that you would be tending or plan on buying up a car just because its essential on your work or business then it wont be considered as a want but lets just that accept the fact that majority of us would be buying car just to have some that kind of mentality on trying out to show off your status into other people or trying out to impress and thats the reality of this one and there's nothing we can do about it. For those who had been stepping up their lifestyle then sudden they would be having those tough situation like financial difficulties on which there are those families that who do able to adjust up and there are those who cant be able to recover on what are their current situation or struggles on which it comes worst on where there are those who do commit suicide just because they cant be able to fight off the stress and anxiety at the time that their things been that taken from them just because they cant be able to sustain on paying up.
I would say that's the case when you are rich. Where I live, it would be a big need to have a car, even though I am poor by average standards, even I have a car because I have to, if not, then I would have to walk 22 thousand steps everyday instead, sure there are metro stations and busses, but I would need to walk from home to bus station, then from bus station to metro station, then from metro station to work, then the same when coming back, that would be 22 thousand steps a day, I do it sometimes when I do not use my car, so I know how many steps.
This is why I bought a car, it's a need, I didn't care what it looks like at first when I did, but in 2021 when there was a bull run I had some money so I used that to get a better car, but not like some lambo, it was an old SUV.
