I want to ask about are you using real personal email address on bitcointalk or invalid - temporary emails?
You can use any email and successfully register your bitcointalk account, there is no verification link will be sent to the email to activate your account like we see on most social media account registration or other. But it's better to use an email that you have access, that can be used to recover your account if you forgot your password and also it can be used to lock your account if someone accessed your account and changed the email/password.Should I also change to invalid one? For safety reason.
No need for that, you can hide your email from others.Go to Account related settings and tick "Hide email address from public?"
