Is this what Americans were hopeful of when voting for Trump? I honestly don't think so. The bad thing with American politics is that both parties are distracting people from the real issue. To both the American Left and Right, Billionaires are a protected class. When are people going to realize that billionaires are the enemy?
With your bias, I'm not surprised you don't believe it. The main reason people voted for Trump was to stop the madness of mass immigration, which only served to increase insecurity, worsen public services, and impoverish everyone. It's a textbook plan that is followed in many European countries: let in lots of illegal immigrants very quickly, give them benefits from the start, and thus get grateful voters for life.
It is typical of leftist policies to make everyone poorer, except for the political elite and their friends, so that society becomes increasingly dependent on the state. Look at what happened in Argentina, for example.
What is clear is that, as a good socialist, what drives you is envy: what bothers you is that there are people who earn more money than you, and for that reason you would prefer everyone to become poorer.
It's not surprising that Donald Trump chose to increase the wealth of billionaires while the common men struggle ot make ends meet. He is a billionaire and his circles will influence his policies. There were indications that some of his friends had prior knowledge about his tariff policies. Some of them take advantage of this inside information to make more money.
Do you mean like Nancy Pelosi?
