Streaming reveals location through on-screen details; online forums don’t. Be cautious
privacy isn’t guaranteed anywhere. Stay humble.
Everything reveals some information, streaming just reveals a lot more information a lot faster. Just because you don't show your face here that does not mean that someone can't find you.
The thing is, it may not even be about an individual with the intention to steal your bitcoin but that the individual just have the intention to cause you bodily harm out of hate. The internet is like a 24/7 surveillance camera, the good and bad guys are always watching and they are even much closer to us than we think. Keep your story to yourself. Keep your finances and bitcoin news and updates you yourself. Keep your new wins and new profits to yourself. It can happen in even the remotest part of the world so don't assume it only happens to those in America, France, Germany, Italy or other known places.
That is not very likely to happen to normal people. If you occasionally show things it is not likely that someone is going to hate you enough to do something to you, they usually have other people they already hate and which are much closer to them. For streamers and influencers this is different and they may have plenty of people who hate them.
When choosing a career, one should be prepared for the danger that lies ahead of it. The lady was just doing her normal streaming and could have probably mentioned her crypto holdings and involvement in other things in order to attract more engagement, not knowing that among all the viewers some are just there not for anything aside from monitoring how they can penetrate and steal that which the streamer has publicized. Security first before anything; she has escaped this one and should be careful next time in order for it not to repeat itself.
This thread is not about careers or this lady, it is about not showing your wealth which has nothing to do with careers.
