Whatever problems of corruption and protecting the wealthy America has it is worse in 90% or more of the countries in the world. People only highlight America because it is so big and rich, and has massive influence over everything. If we really compared corruption properly everywhere, nobody would mention America for many years.

It is the land of the free and that can't be denied that they've got massive influence globally because of these wealthy people and the companies that they have inside the USA. They've got a lot of employed people and that's why they're also protected and given some courtesy due to their contribution in the economy. It seems that in every country there is a corruption but fortunate are those who lives in a well managed country and almost zero corruption because they're taking care of the welfare of the people and politicians there are well respected.
