Low capital doesn't it mean it wouldn't grow with bitcoin, in fact bitcoin is among the most performing coin in the market and the safer one of course.
You can try altcoin but just because it looks cheap doesn't mean it can go up easily, look at their total supply and their market cap.
I personally will choose bitcoin to invest if I don't have bitcoin in my portfolio, is the best investment right now.
