Building a world-class stadium in Nigeria is a good idea, and I believe it is something we should have for a long time now, considering our capacity as giants of Africa, i anticipate that Nigeria will rank in the top 10 nations in the world for having world-class stadiums. Hosting bigger competitions will be risky due to insecurity in the country, Nigeria is unsafe to host bigger competitions, as you and I both know, which is why many people speak out against the super falcon rewards, everyone complaining about the money that was offered to them understands that those girls deserved it, but what's their pain is that what has the government done to show appreciation for the country's security agencies?
The stadiums that we have in the country have not been well managed, and people are saying the government should build more. I believe almost all the states in Nigeria have stadiums, but how many of them are maintained?
Nigerians are criticising the government because of ignorance and poverty. They don't know that other countries also reward their players handsomely. While others are just angry that the government is handling the economy poorly, which has led to hardship while they are spending such an amount on sportswomen.
this is the reason why most people are complaining about the rewards, because our government doesn't care much about football and we only have a few well-maintained stadiums, like International Stadium in Akwa Ibom and others, If our government decides to invest and raise the standard of the Nigeria Football League, it will greatly benefit the young people. Because we have young, gifted football players who want to play football as career but aren't given the chance, so perhaps that will empower them if they do not use tribalism, because that's the problem we mostly have in Nigeria. I also believe that other players from African nations will get interested in playing too, and that will bring more togetherness, but I do not think that our government is going to work with such idea.
