Unless you extended the recovery phrase with an optional passphrase, the 12 words should be enough. I don't know if Exodus wallet supports passphrases, though.
If Chrome is your browser of choice, I would suggest you bookmark the official website and only access it in the future from your bookmarks. Doing google searches with terms like "Exodus wallet" can lead you to phishing sites and ads displayed at the top of Chrome's search results to fake sites meant to steal your coins. If you aren't using an ad blocker and don't know how to recognize phishing sites, this can be quite dangerous.

Out of curiosity, are you using Exodus to store bitcoin or do you have altcoins you keep there as well?
