Manchester United deserve it with their performance, they were the better side in this series and we have to congratulate them but can they still bring this very performance, this same energy to the EPL when next campaign begins? In as much as they played against same EPL clubs and won all 3 games I still find it hard to believe that they can replicate same display or even more when it matters, it won't be like we saw, but can Manchester United start the season with a win?
Congratulations to Manchester United for their victory in this year's summer series. But their play pattern is still very poor and that pattern is not what can keep anyone ahead in the Epl. They still lack tactics and still, the forward is still dormant. Mbuemo not matching up the hype and Cunha alike. All the game goes round Bruno Fernandez and partly Amad in anytime he's in the pitch. This is not what they expect to survive the season with.
Again scoring two own goals in 3 games is a self destructive one. I never believed Everton would pull up such tension on Manchester United as they nearly almost won the game. But let's all believe that this is only a preparatory test and they would take correction before Season starts. The team still lacks a finisher, keeping Garnacho out of the seasons plan may not end well, not even that they easily sign good players.
If that's the case then they'll still struggle because what you said is true about Bruno and Amad, if any team mark these two players out then the whole team will be like they are clueless, Amorim might be getting it right (said it before) but I'll still focus more on that backline and to make the game all round. Cunha and Mbeumo are good players which I can't say they are off color yet, until the season kicks off and we see them play that's when we can say they are not getting it right.
Forget about Everton, they can't be at their best because they don't have when they can be at their best, confused team every season without trying to make a change, escaping being relegated and celebrate it at the end of the season like they won a trophy.
UTD made some mistakes by letting Everton see more of the ball that's why the goals went in and the markers are not doing their job for the Red Devils. Garnacho and the other players are suppose to be the ones to make these new set of Manchester United squad be dangerous in the attacking department, with Cunha and Mbeumo I believe things would be different but lack of communication is one thing the management of UTD are having issue with. Talk to these guys, keep them and build something strong and Amorim won't succeed if he let go some of these players.
