Can you cite the difference between the two so that reader won't be confused between the gambling fever and gambling addiction. From your example, they don't have any differences so telling us in details would be great so that we can differentiate the two. This might give some people a hint but to those who just read gambling fever might still feel confused especially you did not specify the difference in duration, severity and psychological impact of the two. Aside from that you also did not tell us why gambling fever is not a health condition when they have the same description as gambling addiction.

The term gambling fever and gambling addiction is actually different. But what OP mentioned are most from addicted behaviour, e.g. chasing loss, feeling restless, gambling as a escape, etc. Having a fever won't feel that even on literally a fever.
The term gambling fever is a term more like the symptoms of temporary addiction. That even for an occasional gambler will feel those like a temporary excitement or rush around gambling this were usually short and fades once the event or stimulus ends. Those are gambling fever based on research,

Just that basing or depending into someones understandable but actually it is just that almost that the same considering those actions been that mentioned then those are the main doings into those people who had been that addicted to gambling on which those are that main actions or approach to those addicted gamblers. There's no difference if we would be trying out to generalized both things. Doesnt matter whether its fever or addiction, what matter most on here is that someone should be that mindful or watchful into the things that they've been trying out to deal on with. People would be that only mindful at the time that they had been able to experience those unfortunate conditions and not on the time that they will be that still playing or dealing up with it. Never ever make yourself that becoming that too positive towards gambling then you should be just that fine.

People would be tending out to be that optimistic when they do gamble and thats why at the time that they would be having those kind of positivity then they would be that going that more when it comes to spending and after that then it would be that mixed up with different emotions on which it would be leading up into those actions on which arent supposed to be done in the first place. When you do gamble then you should be that sensible at least and be watchful about into the amount that you've been spending so that you wont be ending up on having that problem.
