Manchester United deserve it with their performance, they were the better side in this series and we have to congratulate them but can they still bring this very performance, this same energy to the EPL when next campaign begins? In as much as they played against same EPL clubs and won all 3 games I still find it hard to believe that they can replicate same display or even more when it matters, it won't be like we saw, but can Manchester United start the season with a win?
Now their fans should rejoice and celebrate this moment. Perhaps with this happy start, Man Utd can once again achieve much better results in real competition, especially when they don't have to focus on other competitions. But Amorim still has much to improve, especially in defense, which is still far from perfect.
Congratulations to them.
Honestly this trophy they won will look like things are ok with the club but some won't understand the pressure the manager and the players are facing. This can't be seen as something to say they are back to speed, let's see this trophy they won as something they can glance through and find out their weak point or find out where they made a mistake, every game they played they messed up one way or the other, like Bruno said when being interviewed, "that the players made some mistakes which they need to go back and correct and that some of them are weak and they need to get new signs" this is something I expected the manager to say but it seems the manager is still feeling happy with this trophy the won even if the new season won't be favorable to them, they need fresh legs to boost their chances of survival in the EPL.
