There will be days that we truly hate gambling because of the money that we have lost and promise to ourselves that we will stop gambling for good. But then again, after just a day, you felt that your day is not complete without gambling and so you are tempted to go back.
That’s the exact definition of addiction. When you are addicted to something, you will feel uncomfortable and will feel as if something is missing until you do it (fill the whole). If you get to that point, then you should realize that you need to seek help.
Unfortunately, some gamblers fail to realize the difference between the urge to play more just for the sake of having fun and the early signs of addiction.
I think the only way to enjoy gambling is to have a limit and not go beyond it. Having a limit is advantageous, and when you are done with it, you don't need to continue gambling in the long run, but rather be disciplined.
When there is no limit in gambling, you have no idea of when to stop playing; you might just keep playing until you end up losing all the money you have. Most gamblers don't pay attention to their gambling urges and don't measure how to manage them.
