If someone starts asking people for ID to view a website like Onlyfans, it's just a matter of time before they demand ID for a website such as Bitcointalk as well.
Noody is doing open porn-prostitution in bitcointalk forum as far as I know.
If I was I position of power I would not even allow stupid OF to exist, but that is a different topic, and you can access that crap even without ID if you pay them.

In Dutch, we have the word "katvanger". It's usually a homeless person who has many vehicles registered in his name, so the real owner can use it for illegal activities. I've already seen many requests to buy ID-papers or just KYC registration. Usually that's on a casino or exchange, but it's not that far fetched to expand this to regular websites just to avoid their privacy violating policies. The end result will be anonymous criminals, and no privacy for anyone who follows the law.
Yeah but that can work only on small scales, if everyone would have to verify for internet access than they would add drastic fines for anyone caught selling or using fake identity.
Down the lines they also want to connect all that crap with digital wallets and CBDC, and that is total digital slavery.
In that scenario you won't be able to buy or selling anything outside government approved CBDC crap.
