Having a better performance in preseason games doesn't guarantee good performance when the season begins. I have seen clubs whose performances are very good during the preseason games, but as the season begins, we see the unexpected.

I'm surprised that we're underrating preseason matches. Let's not forget that a good beginning makes a good ending, because preseason games can give us an idea of which teams might do well in the league, especially now that preseason games have become more competitive with many teams using their starting lineups. In my opinion, any team that concedes goals or shows poor performances in preseason might struggle even in the league.

I don't have much hope for Manchester United, especially in the Premier League. They completely disappointed last season. I don't see any hope for them even for the upcoming season. Because there is no change in them and apart from the change of coach, there is no big change in Manchester United. We can only trust Amorim and watch Manchester United's matches to see his performance. As a coach, it is definitely important to see how much he can improve his team from the bad position. I will be happy to see them improve a little. The fight may not be easy for Ruben Amorim.

I haven't seen the impact of Manchester United that shows they're ready to compete for the Premier League title like other top clubs. However, we shouldn't make decisions based on their last season's performance, assuming that they won't perform well this season. Football is unpredictable, and despite Manchester United's poor performances last season, they still managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League final, which was an impressive effort in my opinion.
