a lot of newbie investors always make this mistake of not doing their own research before diving into any investment, immediately they are been introduced to any investment by friends they will put money in it without trying to know more about it if they can really cope with it or not, because assuming the OP did his own research after he came across bitcoin in 2021 I don't think that he or she will sell of his or her bitcoin investment in panic due to the dip that occurred in bitcoin as at that time he or she bought it, at least he should have knew that bitcoin is a volatile asset that it price can fluctuate dramatically. And secondly anyone who want to invest in bitcoin should always have it at the back of his or her mind that bitcoin investment is a game of patient and commitment, because bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme that you can garbage in and garbage out.
