Every coach has their own style, and while there's no one-size-fits-all approach, despite the support of the players in the squad, which makes things easier for them, each coach has their own challenges and unique plans.
It's certainly not easy for Xabi Alonso, especially with the burden of managing a team as big as Real Madrid, with the demands of management and fans. But I'm still quite optimistic, especially since Real Madrid is a team with a strong mentality, so no matter what, they will still be a force to be reckoned with in the Champions League.
Having a number of quality players should make it easier for a coach to develop a team to be better because he can utilize the strengths of each player at his disposal. The challenge of managing a big team like Real Madrid is certainly not easy because the management and fans both want trophies, so the pressure is much different than when he managed Leverkusen. Whatever the outcome, it is still too early to judge because Xabi Alonso is still very new to Real Madrid as a coach, and although he was previously a Real Madrid player, it does not mean he will easily achieve success in the role of head coach.
