Fabrizio Romano reports Manchester United has signed the Slovenia striker from RB Leipzig in a deal worth just under £73 million.

The 22-year-old Sesko will sign a deal at Old Trafford through 2030. The transfer is pending a medical.

A native of Radece, Sesko made his senior debut in 2019 with Red Bull Salzburg. After three seasons in Austria and three league titles, he signed for sister club Leipzig in 2023.

In 64 Bundesliga appearances over two seasons, Sesko scored 27 goals.

Internationally, Sesko has been capped 41 times by Slovenia since his senior debut in 2021 and has 16 goals. He was a member of the Slovenia side at Euro 2024.

Sesko joins a brand-new United attack that also features the recently arrived Brazil forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Cameroon winger Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

After a 15th-place finish last season, United opens its new campaign on Aug. 15 at home to runners-up Arsenal.

Manchester united have had their worst season by ending up in number 15 in English premier League table their performance was really poor because the entire team was not really at the good shape though they were only focused on uefa Europa league hoping to book themselves a ticket to this coming season champions league but unfortunately it doesn't work out with their plan manchester United have been busy in the transfer market by bringing new players to the team i think they have realized their mistakes and am sure with this new players they will perform better and compete for this coming season

Manchester United had their worst season, finishing in 15th place in the English Premier League table. Their performance was really poor because the entire team wasn't in good shape, even though they were only focused on the UEFA Europa League in hopes of securing a spot in the Champions League this coming season. But unfortunately, their plan didn't work out, and Manchester United has been busy in the transfer market by adding new players to the team. I believe they have realized their mistakes, and I am confident that with these new players, they will perform better and compete for this coming season.
