So what do you think is your country missing to get out of being a third world country stage?
Political instability and rampant corruption are the main culprits. Can you imagine the vice president of our country divesting half a billion pesos, and the lawmakers do not want to investigate her because of political affiliation?
We are an example of a country that cannot move forward from poverty because our corrupt politicians look for their interests first so that they can remain in power.
Well, I guess partly to blame are the people because we elected these bad politicians.

I believe, corruption is the main reason why many countries are still poor. Because think of it, most of them have their own natural resources and yet, they are still importing a lot of goods from other countries. Let us take for example, Singapore - a very small country with very limited resources and look at what they have now. They are a very good example that even a very small country can have their progressive path if the government is sincere in uplifting their economy.
