Amorim has only been Manchester United manager for half a year after replacing Erik Ten Hak.
It's not easy to make big changes to a team that's experiencing a decline in performance because they need real change, and I'm sure Amorim can gradually do that.
Winning titles with a team that's not very consistent is not easy because other teams have far more potential with the strengths they have now.
Amorim is rebuilding the Manchester United squad, and it will take time to see results. However, if they hope to achieve immediate success by winning a title, that's unlikely to happen anytime soon. This season, Anorim will struggle to compete with teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

This trophy he won with the side, let it not be that this will be the only thing he'd accomplish with the Red Devils before he leaves the club. Spending half a year with the club and he's still struggling is not a good remark for a man that made Sporting CP unstoppable, even with the trophy he won I can tell you for free that is not enough, we just have to say weldone to that.
If this manager doesn't get far as to winning any trophy next campaign or changing the mentality of the players and transforming the team to something different from what we know them to be in the next six months starting from the month of August then he's a failure to the club and he's not good enough to make UTD be like anything close to the former club he manage, Sporting CP.
Well, the season is not far away anymore infact in a week time he will face the first big challenge of the season when Manchester United faces Arsenal away at the Emirates stadium. This will be a good test for him to evaluate the readiness of his squad for the rest of the season, however I am not writing United off because they have made good signings this summer so I expect a competitive encounter when they play against Arsenal on the 17th of August 2025.
