If this manager doesn't get far as to winning any trophy next campaign or changing the mentality of the players and transforming the team to something different from what we know them to be in the next six months starting from the month of August then he's a failure to the club and he's not good enough to make UTD be like anything close to the former club he manage, Sporting CP.

Well, the season is not far away anymore infact in a week time he will face the first big challenge of the season when Manchester United faces Arsenal away at the Emirates stadium. This will be a good test for him to evaluate the readiness of his squad for the rest of the season, however I am not writing United off because they have made good signings this summer so I expect a competitive encounter when they play against Arsenal on the 17th of August 2025.

I think the Gunners are visiting the Red Devils at Old Trafford which I feel would definitely be a cracker, a big one for that matter. The way Amorim went about business in the friendlies was impressive but taking that same performance against a team that is having every bad day at their friendlies won't be something to say they'll get an easy win or an outstanding display. Arsenal are not in a good shape and they failed to get a win in their last 2 games and with a disappointing performance so I feel they are ready to give everything just to put Man UTD in their place, let Amorim start recruiting players if not he might get his first loss by Sunday next week. What Amorim have won't be enough to match Arsenal but they'll try and if Arsenal get a win that would prompt Amorim to keep searching for more players.
