You should bring your real personality and only follow the unofficial forum rules. Beyond that, there is no box you are expected to fit in.

Exactly. Treat this forum as your own community where knowledge and values should be shared to the rest of the members. With that, you have to be aligned with the forum rules and standards if you want to stay longer and benefit longer in the forum.

And just to be clear, there is no competition in the forum, wherein you have to show your best just to gain an edge over the others. That is a negative mindset. Instead, find your own means that you will become an asset in the forum, that you will be a source of right information, because that will help you establish your own identity in the forum.
