I have followed the Base chain and I thought that it will go as quickly as it can and become popular. But I don't think that it's already there to become the new solana, although it's also chosen by new projects to get in. Maybe some test of luck
and it needs more time.
One project that caught my eye is TOWNS — they let you create your own private versions of apps like Discord or WhatsApp groups, but you get full ownership and can even make some money from it. It’s an early discovery for me, so I’ll be doing more research to understand exposure levels, etc. I’ll be back to update the thread.
Do the research for us and tell us more about this project. It doesn't sound as it should be and more of a name for a game. But, I don't think that we need more of these messaging apps come to us. It's hard to beat these established ones already unless you've got to cater a lot of people into jumping to this boat of new waves of discords, whatsapp and even telegram.
